Electronica is generally at tempos 135 to 145. (beats per minute)
Dance is sometimes pushed up to 150, while hardcore goes 160-180.
(how I know this, don't ask. I know my tempos)
If you don't understand this, give me an PM, I'll explain it to you more in depth.
If you've got FL Studio, put it down to about 145 if you want to go a little fast.
Question: If you want to be a raver (song title), how in the ******* are you supposed to dance this fast? Is this a rave on E? I wouldn't know, but I'm sure someone on NG knows...just curious...just joking with you. :)
It has it's perks, but still needs a lot of work. Yeah. My first song, Frantic, is literally a piece of crap. If you don't believe me, listen to it yourself.
After a few months, I became more used to making songs and my music skill has increased and my latest submission called TranceStorm is really complex compared with my first batch of songs.
I can see you being really good with making some good ol' techno/industrial, but I guess you have to start somewhere...
