1. Your kicks have a slight distortion coming from them. I would use the compressor. If need some help (if you are newer to it) then I could do it for you...

Electronica is generally at tempos 135 to 145. (beats per minute)
Dance is sometimes pushed up to 150, while hardcore goes 160-180.
(how I know this, don't ask. I know my tempos)
If you don't understand this, give me an PM, I'll explain it to you more in depth.
If you've got FL Studio, put it down to about 145 if you want to go a little fast.
Question: If you want to be a raver (song title), how in the ******* are you supposed to dance this fast? Is this a rave on E? I wouldn't know, but I'm sure someone on NG knows...just curious...just joking with you. :)
It has it's perks, but still needs a lot of work. Yeah. My first song, Frantic, is literally a piece of crap. If you don't believe me, listen to it yourself.
After a few months, I became more used to making songs and my music skill has increased and my latest submission called TranceStorm is really complex compared with my first batch of songs.
I can see you being really good with making some good ol' techno/industrial, but I guess you have to start somewhere...

I think this needs a lot of work. Honestly, I thought my stuff wasn't very "complete sounding." This might be something good in an original NES game, but with technology these days...it sounds kinda simple.
The first thing that would need work is the bassline. I really don't hear one at all.
I think that the claps are a little too loud. Maybe that some other sounds going on during the melody would help this song greatly. Don't worry; I used to not be as good with FL Studio as I am now. If you want to check out a recent song of mine, take a look at Underseas or The Adventure. Those have several things going on at once and the listener likes to hear more than one thing going on. At least I do. You have the foundation of the song: the melody. Now you should build around it. I've given you a

I like this...you used FL Studio, right? I could tell, but I'm pretty sure you did. Good job though. I like it with it's delay and all. Yeah. Put some mean beats behind it and you've got some techno. How is it techno without the beats? Oh well. It's only a Christmas song...

DJ nighmare is right. I had a no. 17 song in Techno earlier today and now it is off the first 6 pages...it didn't have a whole lot of votes, but a 0 vote had to be the case. People have no heart. This loop is good. I wish I could do my melody for my song, but I'm too stuck. I've been trying to find someone else to do it for me. I thought the kick was kinda the wrong sound to use for this song...a little less gritty, I guess. Even for trance. I like the melody as well.
